Neighborhood and Schools
7612 Menagerie Lane is located in the Chaparral Point at Indigo Ranch neighborhood, just on the edge of the east side of Colorado Springs. The homes in this neighborhood were built by respected local builder Classic Homes. This is truly a unique neighborhood, designed to bring neighbors together and bring back memories of the days when families sat on their front porches in the evenings and watched the sun go down while they had fun as a family – kind of like “Mayberry”!
Chaparral Point homes have lovely covered front porches and garages set to the back of the house (”alley-access”) so that these homes are not “all garage” as is so often the case with newer homes. There is a beautifully landscaped commons area in the front of this home, and across the street, a large grassy area with gazebo for the whole neighborhood to enjoy.
The neighborhood is just minutes away from the Powers Corridor, where you’ll find grocery stores, retail shopping, restaurants, services, and more. Your new home is just five minutes away from everything you’ll ever need! Retail and restaurants within five to ten minutes of this home include JC Penney, Target, Lowe’s, Best Buy, Whole Foods, King Soopers, Safeway, TJ Maxx, Kohl’s, Chick Fil A, Chili’s, Chipotle, Texas Roadhouse, and so much more!
This home is in Falcon School District 49, and students in this neighborhood attend Stetson Elementary School, Skyview Middle School, Vista Ridge High School, and Sand Creek High School. [Note: Vista Ridge High School is a new school and during the 2008-2009 school year, served students in grades 9 and 10, while grades 11 and 12 attended Sand Creek High School. Beginning in fall 2009, Vista Ridge will open to 11th grade students, and in fall 2010, it will open to all high school students.]
You can request a consolidated PDF of all the CSAP scores and reports for District 49, as well as any other area district. Please note that school attendance boundaries may change and should be verified with the school district.
